The Salkum Library opened in 1986, replacing the bookmobile service. The current library shares Timberland's collection of over 1.6 million books, CDs, DVDs, ebooks, downloadable audiobooks, videos, magazines, talking books, and audiocassettes. Weekly programs including family story hour, knitting circle, and holiday activities. Free WiFi, visitor information, and meeting space are available.
