Get introduced to the rivers of the Byway, the Tieton and Tilton, Cowlitz and Cispus. Join the many people who have come to know and love rafting these raging rivers. The Tieton is especially good in September when many other Washington rivers are slow. The Tieton bombs through beautiful pine forests, and the oad canyon basalt into 21 miles of continuous Class III rapids. The river drains the peaks of the Goat Rocks Wilderness before tumbling into the Rimrock Lake Reservoir. The Tieton's flow is controlled for irrigation by the Rimrock Lake Dam.
