Rimrock Lake and Tieton Dam
The rugged mountain terrain, surrounded by coniferous forest, creates a magnificient scenic setting at Rimrock Lake. This lake, along with neighboring Clear Lake, provides 2,790 water-surface acres. Available fish include rainbow trout and kokanee. Open year round. Best way to fish is by boat. Launch sites are Peninsula, and Horseshoe Cove, Private launches are at The Cove, Snug Harbor, and Silver Beach. Silvers are the predominate fish.
Rimrock Lake which is part of the Yakima Project was formed by the construction of Tieton Dam on the Tieton River.
