Woods Creek Watchable Wildlife Area

1.5 and 2.5 mile accessible loop trail for birding or walking with nature

For a great opportunity to learn about the area's wildlife and their habitats, explore the Woods Creek Trail. Meandering through five different habitats, it is an excellent 1.5 mile hike for children, and presents many opportunities for bird watching and plant identification. Bring along a plant identification book and study all the different varieties of vegetation along the path. This is a great place for a picnic or hike, located just south of Randle.

This summer you will discover the StoryTrail presented by the Mountain View Library to Celebrate 50 years of the Timberland Regional Library system. Take photos and make rubbings at the final station.  Post your photos to TRLStoryTrail.  Fun for the whole family.

The short trail at Woods Creek was built to be accessible. It is four feet wide with compacted gravel surfacing. Several picnic tables are scattered about and a vault toilet is available in the parking area.
